This Department is primarily saddled with the responsibility of
ensuring a seamless integration of new members in the Ministry
of the Church. Membership of this department is reserved for
matured Christians to help in teaching in the New Members
class on Sundays.
The group is involved in teaching of Children of ages 6 months-12
years both during the Worship Service and the Sunday school.
Proper preparation is expected in order to be effective in this
ministry. Vacation Bible School and Children's Day Celebration are
amongst responsibilities taken care of by this Ministry. The group is
led by the Director of Children's Department.
The Multimedia Ministry leverages technology to enhance worship, communication, and outreach. It ensures high-quality documentation, live streaming, and digital archiving of sermons and church events, making them easily accessible for spiritual growth and engagement. This ministry also manages audiovisual production and other digital platforms to extend the church’s message beyond its physical walls.
This group is primarily saddled with the responsibility of
producing the church's newsletter / magazines and other news
items. The group is also saddled with all forms of publicity for
the Church
The core objective of the Senior Citizens Fellowship is to develop
nurture Christ like relationship among senior citizens of the
Church such that they keep loving the LORD and serving Him
with gladness, The Fellowship shall strive to ensure that spiritual,
social, financial and health needs of members are met richly and
without procrastination. Members shall pray, study, learn,
socialize, share good moments together and enjoy one another's
company
This Committee is primarily saddled with the responsibility of
ensuring that the Church extends care to the community
through tangible donations or support.
The central objective of the Deliverance Ministry is to ensure that
every captive in the Church is set free. In addition, the Ministry's
passion will be to ensure that satan does not gain any foothold in
the life of any member and to activate the power of God to deliver
members from every form of demonic obsession or demonic
possession
The Protocol Team ensures that the members' cars are properly
parked for all Church programmes. Members of the Team are
assisted by some paid staff who watches over the cars during all
church programmes. The Team is also saddled with providing
necessary logistics for all Guest Ministers invited to the Church
MISSIONS
The Mission Committee works with the Mission Pastor to
implement the Mission Policy of the Church. This includes
assisting in planting and serving in the mission stations of the
Church. In addition, mission club has been added to the
ministry.
The group organizes Christian plays, play-lets and drama
generally for the edification of the body of Christ. The group is
called upon by other departments and various committees of
the church to provide this service. Members might have to work
under tight schedules.
MUSIC MINISTRY
This group is for people aged between 13 years and 80 years of age who
want to serve the Lord with their talent. They need to know and
understand basic rudiments of music or show willingness to learn. They
must be ready to serve in any capacity within the music ministry of the
NHBC Family.
This department represents the “face” of the Church in welcoming every
worshiper and ensuring orderliness in worship and sitting arrangements.
The admiring smile, warm welcome and caring attitude of the Ushers
make every worshiper and particularly new-comers to be at ease during
the service and other programs of the church. They are expected to be
punctual, smart, patient, cautious, of good disposition, properly and
decently dressed,
This Team comprises of all Church members who professionally
engage in providing medical health services. The primary
objective of the Team is to utilize skills, competence and
resources backed by the grace of God and gifts of the Holy spirit
to ensure medical soundness , fitness and well being of
members of the Church. The team is saddled with the
responsibility of providing basic health care and advisory
services to members to facilitate physical well being
This Department is for mature Christians to help teach Sunday
School Classes on Sundays. The teachers meet to preview
upcoming Sunday School lessons and to pray. Departmental
retreat is held once in a year and every member is expected to
attend.
This ministry focuses on providing spiritual,
motivational, physical resources as well as organizing
special events/engagements that will transform the
lives of prison in-mates
This department is saddled with responsibility of ensuring the
highest standards of maintenance of the Church's assets
including the worship auditorium, all the facilities and offices
therein, Pastor's residences as well as any other physical
infrastructure of the church not otherwise designated for
operation / maintenance by any other Department. The
Department is also responsible for ensuring proper functionality
of all the facilities and repairs when necessary.
Teenagers are members aged between 13 years and 19 years.
Church Workers with passion for training and developing
Teenagers to understand the word of God and to engender
fellowship amongst them for sound Christian virtues and values
are appointed by the Church as Teenagers Counsellors.
This group consists of a core team that focuses on making
deliberate efforts to reach the unsaved, persuading people to
become Christians.
This ministry focuses on young and new believers for the
purpose of spiritual guidance to ensure that they are
established in faith and secure a growing relationship with
God.
This is a Fellowship for members aged between twenty (20) and
forty (40) years old whether single or married, schooling or
working, male or female. The primary focus of the Fellowship is
to ignite an exciting faith in and love for the LORD Jesus Christ in
the Youth. The Fellowship ministers specifically to meet the
peculiar needs of the Youth and provokes them to active, Godly
and committed service in every aspect of the Church.
This group focuses on ensuring a sense of belonging for every
member of the Church and worshipers in the Church. The group
serves to provide encouragement and comfort for all categories of
worshipers, with primary focus on the following set of people:
! guests
! Members not see in worship service for more than two
weeks.
! Members/worshippers that are hospitalized
! Elderly members
! People celebrating any good thing (new job, new house,
wedding, new births..)
! Disabled members.
! Bereaved people.
! People in any form of crisis (loss of job, sudden attacks,
etc.).
This ministry seeks to express the love of Christ to
patients at hospitals and to organize free medical care
at outreaches or chosen locations. The ministry will
also recommend to the church any need for special
investment that might assist in alleviating suffering of
the people, for example, through the provision of
borehole.
This ministry provides every Guest a unique welcome experience
to the Church. Right from recognition of guests to the short
interaction after service, they tend to make Guests feel at home.
They seek to know so much about the Guests in a short time and
attend to every inquiry of the Guests about the Church.
This ministry is dedicated to meeting spiritual needs of
members that respond to altar calls (apart from Salvation
decisions which are to be handled by Follow-Up Ministry).
They engage in an holistic approach to building the body of
Christ holy and blameless before the LORD.
The Prayer Ministry stands in the gap for the Church, offering all
manners of prayer thanksgiving, intercession, petition, deliverance
and for the awesome power of God to be made manifest in the life of
the Church, the Leaders and all members.
The Prayer Warriors intercede on behalf of Families, The Church and
The Nation. Members are expected to live a transparent and
committed life.
This Ministry is saddled with the responsibility of ensuring an effective
fellowship of members and worshipers living within the same
neighbourhood. It represents a primary avenue of extending care and
promoting discipleship as well as accountability and practical Christian
living.
This Department is tasked with keeping the appearance of the
Church and the immediate environment clean, neat and
attractive. The Department ensures that the Church is
presentable and in order, making certain that every visitor has a
positive first impression
This is a Missionary group of the Church which serves as the umbrella
organization for all men in the Church. It is also the umbrella
organization for the Royal Ambassadors:
This Department comprises of church workers committed to
multiplying and extending the reach of ministry gifts planted
in the church through electronics means.
This is a Missionary group of the Church which serves as the
umbrella organization for all women, girls and children. The
following are the arms of Women Missionary Union:
This ministry focuses on providing opportunities for the Church
to reach out to students of higher institutions located in the
Church's vicinity for salvation, deliverance, discipleship,
mentoring, academic excellence and welfare. Immediate
attention shall be given to students of University of Lagos, Yaba,
College of Technology, Federal College of Education (Technical)
as well as FCT, Yaba, St. Augustines and other institutions of
higher learning/
This Ministry seeks to promote love and social interactions
among members of the church. It is saddled with the
responsibility of organizing programmes that will improve
relationship among members and make it very easy to reach
out in love to one another.
This is an outreach department of the church that ensures
adequate publicity, awareness and hosting of the Church's information and programmes across digital mediums such as social media, billboards and websites.
